Palestinian-French-Algerian artist Saint Levant has announced a massive 41-date world tour alongside what appears to be his highly anticipated second studio album, AFANDI. The announcement comes after the release of two new singles featuring Lebanese music icon Haifa Wehbe, signaling a major new chapter in the singer’s career.
The AFANDI World Tour will span North America, Europe and the Middle East, with six performances across the Arab world. The regional leg begins in Amman on August 13, followed by Kfardebian (Lebanon) on August 15, Casablanca on December 3, Doha on December 11, Muscat on December 12, and concludes in Dubai on December 19.
Inspired by the vibrant Levantine cabaret culture of the 1990s, the live show will combine music, storytelling and theatrical stage design to recreate the artistic spirit, fashion and nightlife that shaped modern Arab pop culture.
While Saint Levant has yet to officially unveil his second album, Live Nation’s tour description identifies AFANDI as both the tour title and the name of his upcoming record. The album is said to draw inspiration from legendary Arab artists such as George Wassouf and Kadim Al Saher, while reimagining the traditional “afandi”—a term historically used to describe an elegant, educated and sophisticated gentleman.
Details including the album’s release date, tracklist and cover artwork remain under wraps. Presale tickets are set to launch on July 21, with general ticket sales opening on July 24.
